Offering Melanotaenia australis.

A peaceful rainbowfish found in streams and tributaries across Australia, they display a beautiful striped blue colouration with deep red finnage. Appreciating clean water and a varied diet, aim to keep them in groups where they can shoal as part of their natural behaviours, flitting in and out of densely planted tanks. Growing to just under 5 inches, they appreciate tanks of at least 100 litres in size, allowing them room to swim freely. Tank mates should be peaceful in nature.
